Building knowledge for the future of mobility
HyperBRIDGE is a Dutch-German innovation project that connects companies, universities, researchers, students and public organisations around hyperloop technology. The project focuses on research, testing, education and knowledge sharing. Hyperloop is still a technology in development, so the aim is not to promise a finished transport system, but to build the knowledge needed to evaluate future applications responsibly.
Choose the route that best matches what you want to know or do next.
Future mobility involves technology, infrastructure, skills, sustainability, policy and people. By connecting research, education, business and public organisations, the project helps turn individual questions into shared knowledge. This creates opportunities to learn from testing, connect expertise and make emerging technology easier to understand.
Explore hyperloop technology
Hyperloop is a concept for high-speed transport in a low-pressure tube environment. Different concepts combine technologies such as levitation, electric propulsion, sensors, digital control and safety systems. The basic principle is understandable: reduce air resistance and mechanical friction. Making an entire system work safely and reliably is much more complex. That is why research and testing remain essential.

Still have questions?
Contact usHyperBRIDGE is a Dutch-German innovation project focused on hyperloop-related research, education, testing, knowledge sharing and collaboration.
HyperBRIDGE focuses on knowledge development and collaboration. Hyperloop itself is still being researched and tested, and future commercial applications would require further validation, standards, regulation and viable business cases.
The network is relevant to companies, SMEs, knowledge institutions, researchers, students, educational organisations, public authorities and societal partners.
There are several ways to join. Organisations can explore collaboration opportunities on our Collaborate page, students and young professionals can find internships, graduation projects and vacancies in the Academy, and anyone with a question or idea is welcome to get in touch via the Contact page.
Testing helps researchers move from assumptions to measurable information. It shows how components behave, where limitations remain and which questions require further work. HyperBRIDGE shares these lessons with companies, educational institutions and public partners, so knowledge does not remain inside one laboratory or organisation.
