Reimagine the way we travel
Explore the four pillars of the Hyperloop, discover how we keep it safe by design, and find the assignment where your engineering skills fit in.
The tech of tomorrow
Discover the four fundamental pillars of the Hyperloop. Dive deep into the mechanics and find out where your engineering skills fit in.
The Vacuum Network
A low-pressure steel network that eliminates air resistance, enabling unprecedented speeds across the continent.
Dive into the technology
Or look at:
The Pod
A high-performance, pressurized vessel engineered for supersonic velocities and maximum passenger safety.
(Magnetic) Levitation
Non-contact suspension systems that eliminate rolling resistance and mechanical wear for ultra-smooth travel.
Propulsion & Vacuum
Electromagnetic acceleration coupled with near-vacuum conditions to achieve flight-level efficiency on the ground.
Safety by Design
Every layer of the system is engineered to fail safe, so speed never comes at the cost of safety.
Enclosed Infrastructure
The pod travels inside a fully enclosed low-pressure tube, isolated from weather, wildlife and level crossings. Removing the outside world removes the most common causes of transport incidents before they can occur.
Autonomous Moving-Block Control
Each pod is assigned a protected block of tube that moves with it, guaranteeing a safe separation from every other pod. If communication is lost, the affected block automatically shrinks and the pod slows to a controlled stop.
Fail-Safe Magnetic Braking
Braking relies on passive magnetic forces that engage without external power. A total loss of energy makes the pod brake harder, not coast, so the safe state is also the default state.
Sectional Pressure Control
The tube is divided into independently sealed sections, each monitored in real time. A pressure anomaly is contained within a single section and repressurised gradually, protecting both passengers and the wider network.
What can you build here?
From sensor networks to passenger experience, every open assignment is a real contribution to the first European Hyperloop.
AI Anomaly Detection for Sensors
Detect faults in sensor streams before they escalate.
The Mission
You will develop machine learning models that detect anomalies in high-frequency sensor streams before they escalate into faults.Your work helps keep test runs safe and turns raw telemetry into early, actionable warnings.
Augmented Reality for Maintenance
Design AR overlays that guide field technicians.
The Mission
You will design augmented reality overlays that guide field technicians through complex maintenance procedures on hyperloop infrastructure.Working alongside engineers and storytellers, you turn dense technical documentation into clear, spatial, step-by-step guidance.
Linear Motor Efficiency Analysis
Model and optimise propulsion energy use.
The Mission
You will model the electromagnetic behaviour of linear induction motors and search for gains in propulsion efficiency.Your analysis feeds directly into decisions about tube layout, power delivery and long-term operating cost.
Pod-to-Pod Signal Relay Prototype
Prototype low-latency links between moving pods.
The Mission
You will build and test prototypes for low-latency communication links between pods travelling at high speed.Expect a hands-on role with plenty of bench work, field tests and rapid iteration on real hardware.
Systems Integration Framework
Connect subsystems into one coherent platform.
The Mission
You will design the software framework that connects propulsion, sensing and safety subsystems into one coherent platform.Clean interfaces, solid abstractions and reliable data flow are at the heart of this role.
Vacuum Tube Assembly Tooling
Build the jigs and tooling for tube fabrication.
The Mission
You will design and build the jigs, fixtures and tooling that make vacuum tube fabrication precise and repeatable.A practical, workshop-focused role where craftsmanship directly shapes how well the tube performs.

Bring hyperloop concepts to schools and the public.
The Mission
You will bring hyperloop concepts to schools, community groups and the wider public through hands-on workshops. This role is for someone who loves explaining, listening and sparking curiosity in people of every background.
